The SME training for Feb 2018-Mar 2021 will be held at Body Kneads Yoga in Cranston, RI, as will part of the IDME training. We will match you with other Sonder students so you can coordinate sharing accommodations and rides. Local students and facilitators of Sonder (Theresa and Christine) may be able to help with local transportation if you are within 20 miles of the facility in Cranston.
Those of you coming in June better start looking for accommodations now! With Memorial Day weekend and June approaching, many vacationers from other parts of the country start flooding into the tiny state of RI for their beaches and historical sites. Here are the best deals available right now:
$68 per night for up to four guests! And the place looks beautiful.
Flights to Boston from parts of New York, the Midwest, and South are starting from UNDER $200. You can also fly into TF Green in Providence, but sometimes the flights to Boston are up to 200 dollars cheaper.
From Boston, you can take a bus for 10-20 dollars down to Providence. If that doesn’t appeal to you, contact Christine@Sonder.com for other possible options.
Hi all! Currently I have found a host of properties for $40 and less per person. Depending on how you want to arrange sleeping arrangements, you could be staying in and around Cranston (within a 15 minute drive maximum with no traffic) for as little as $10 a night!
$35 a night for up to four guests!
Federal Hill, a busy district of Providence with everything you need in walking distance
Brown University, within walking distance of Thayer St/Whole Foods
Curious about the availability of Uber and Lyft and/or transportation rental? Both are available and both do regular pick-ups and drop offs from and to TF Green airport.
Select staff and students will make themselves available to help taxi other Sonder students to and from the facility.
Cranston is adjacent to the state's capital, Providence, and is very close to TF Green International Airport as well as Interstate 95. Getting here by train, bus, car, or plane is easy and we will help when we can with logistics, either by getting you in touch with other students or assisting you with information regarding the city's most affordable and reliable transportation.
We aim to make finding a place to stay while you're studying with us as easy as possible, as well. Sharing accommodations with other students is the best way to save time and money. If that's not possible, there are plenty of AirBnB locations as well as affordable hotels.
We will update this page as we draw closer to the training with tips and tricks to help make your stay stress-free.
